Shipping policy
Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, the goods will be delivered from our warehouse to the address you specify.
Deliveries are only possible within Europe. Fresh and refrigerated deliveries are excluded.
If not all ordered products are in stock, we are entitled to make partial deliveries, provided this is reasonable for you. Any deadlines only begin upon receipt of the last one.
If the delivery of perishable goods is the subject of this contract, the following applies: The customer ensures the acceptance of perishable goods on the agreed delivery date by taking appropriate precautions, e.g., by accepting the goods personally, appointing a person to accept them at the specified delivery address, or providing the seller with the name and address of a neighbor willing and authorized to accept them.
When ordering loose goods, i.e., goods that are weighed individually for each customer (e.g., fruit, vegetables, meat, sausage, and cheese), quantity deviations may occur. The price to be paid is determined based on the base price. The base price is stated in EUR per unit of quantity (e.g., EUR per 100ml, 100g, 1kg, 1l). The price to be paid by the customer then refers to the actual weighed quantity. This may result in slight differences between the price stated in the online shop when the order is submitted and the actual invoice price. We strive to keep such differences as small as possible.
Delivery of ordered goods is subject to availability. If the goods are not available at the time of ordering, the customer will receive notification of the expected delivery date, and the order will be reserved by us. As soon as the goods are in stock, they will be shipped to the customer without further notification. In the event of unavailability, particularly because a limited stock of goods marked as such has been exhausted (e.g., vintage wine), the customer will be notified by us. Any payments already made will then be refunded immediately.
As an exception, we are not obligated to deliver the ordered goods if we have properly ordered the goods ourselves but were not delivered correctly or on time (congruent hedging transaction). This is provided that we are not responsible for the unavailability of the goods and that we inform you of this fact immediately. Furthermore, we may not have assumed the risk of procuring the ordered goods. If the goods are unavailable, we will immediately refund any payments already made. We do not assume the risk of having to procure ordered goods (procurement risk). This also applies to orders for goods that are only described by their type and characteristics (generic goods). We are only obligated to deliver from our inventory and the goods we have ordered from our suppliers.
Transport Damage
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such damage immediately to the delivery person and contact us as soon as possible.
Failure to file a complaint or contact us will not affect your statutory warranty rights. However, you will help us assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance.
